WORSHIP starts with Seeing YOU???

What is the heart of worship??? Any Ideas....

 red-dancer-8x10NFS

I have a few...it's a lifestyle/event/both of attracting God's presence, usually through bringing Him an offering of some sort (that should cost you) with a HUMBLE CONTRITE SPIRIT, and REVERENCE and FEAR for His HOLY name. Once His Presence comes...YOU RESPOND...is that the moment of worship....mmm....possibly yes.

The Great Sheperd

jesus-sheep-22

We are living in the rule of the Great Sheperd, this the priveledge of those who are in Christ.

There were many distracting circumstances, trials and pain that got thrown my way recently, but my Daddy has been holding me and my Shepered has been leading me through streams of grace and quiet waters, restoring the soul as only He can. Thanks for all the love and prayers to all you wonderful friends!

Micah 5 in the Message (vs 2-6)

He will stand tall in his shepherd-rule by God's strength,
centered in the majesty of God-Revealed.
And the people will have a good and safe home,
for the whole world will hold him in respect—
   Peacemaker of the world!

And if some bullying Assyrian shows up,
invades and violates our land, don't worry.
We'll put him in his place, send him packing,
   and watch his every move.
Shepherd-rule will extend as far as needed,
to Assyria and all other Nimrod-bullies.
Our shepherd-ruler will save us from old or new enemies,
from anyone who invades or violates our land.

May you feel centered on Him and that His peace will reign in your heart as you read this.

ps. Thanks my Love for this verse!

THE CRUNCH!!!

crunches2s

Oh yeah...it's that time of the year again...the time I like to affectionately call "The Crunch".  It's the most tense, stressful and exciting build up of conclusion and opportunities to practice the gifts of the Spirit in...love,joy,peace,PATIENCE, endurance etc. and overall Grace! It's nearing exams, end of the year, planning for the year ahead or even faffing about it.

But, everytime we 'crunch', we're building strength so next time crunch time gets here it will be a little easier and we'll be more confident to face it.  This strength is built up on the inside and comes from deep security and sense of being loved by the Almighty. Because if Daddy's for us, who can be against us and He will fight our foes and He will supply us with the strength we need.

The other day (maybe saturday) I started exercising in the mornings...after doing some ab crunches I was reminded the rest of the weekend that I had done them everytime I laughed!

Anyway, I want to encourage you all to rely on the strength you will find in the source of all strength and endure through the crunch!

Lexical challenges

Limited lexicon:

I've been thinking about this crisis - this lexical challenge we all face whenever we need to communicate that we are happy/in agreement/concerned/exclaiming/emotionally stirred about things and people.

Some of the default responses include:

"Shoah", "powerful", "hectic" all strung together with a few arb nouns or just standing there on their own - semantically rich?! or poverty?!

What do ye readers thinketh? But importantly, I welcome suggestions for alternate responses. I hope i'm not the only one who percieves a crisis here!

 Twin's 21st:

Ok, so Happy Birthday to my twin. It feels great to be 21 again He is slightly handsomer today, i encourage you to take a peek.

Beautiful wedding of beautiful friends:

Here is a picture taken at the cake and tea gathering just after the absolutely fun fun fun wedding ceremony of Tendai and Keryn Chitsike. What a glorious day!

The ladies in the picture are me and Naomi (my beautiful Sri-Lankan sister)

Well done! Answered prayers!

The sun is out today...it is a beautiful day.

"It's a beautiful day...don't let it slip away..."  (Favourite band, U2)

Do something beautiful for someone on this day, like giving someone flowers! Enjoy the long weekend!
